Our Mission

The RDS Implementor Forum (RDS4X.org) is designed to facilitate collaboration among stakeholders involved in the implementation of ISO/IEC 81346.

The operating model outlined below provides the framework for the Forum's activities, ensuring alignment, interoperability, and efficiency.

2017

  • Airbus stated to discover IEC/ISO 81346

2019

  • TIMWind started developing RDS PS (ISO/IEC 81346, 2022) guidelines
  • Vendor support of RDS PP (ISO/IEC 81346, 2015)

2024

  • TIMWind manuals released on the APQP website
  • ISO/IEC part 101 guideline released
  • TIMWind guidelines tested with the industry
  • Connection made with relevant vendors and system integrators

  • Q1: IF proposal presented

Initial Framework

The Forum’s efforts are based on the ISO/IEC 81346:2022 standard, supported by ISO/IEC guidelines and TIMWind manuals available through APQP.
